The founber of the family business could never imagine while helping as a child his father selling traditional cheeses, that one day, the cheeses that himself would produce would be exported all around the world.

In 1983 the first production unit was built in Athineou village in Larnaka, Cyprus a place with very strong cheese production tradition. The increased demand later lead to the bulding of a greater unit.

The production follows very strict quality standards acoording to the HACCP system and the food safety system Η ISO 22000:2005.

 Halloumi, the traditional cypriot cheese and one of the most famous cheeses in the world is definitely Hadjipieris most popular product.

Halloumi is produced from cow sheep and goat’s milk. It is a semi hard white color cheese with elastic body and it releases all of its flavor once it is grilled. It keeps its shape even at high temperatures and it makes a perfect combination with tomato and mint but also with fruit jams and chutneys.
