KRITEL S.A.

KRITEL S.A. was founded in 1988 by the Kargakis brothers.

During its initial steps in the industry, it featured a plant for olive oil production and its main activity was the collection and processing of virgin olive oil from the rich olive-growing region of Southern Crete.

In 1995 the company takes it to the next level, as it becomes a Limited Company and using considerable investments, it acquires two additional state of the art production plants and goes on to create its own ultra modern olive oil mill.

Two years later and aiming at continuous growth and improvement of its capabilities, it expands into the field of standardization and acquires its first facility for the standardization, packaging and storage of olive oil.

In 2003 the company is modernized with state-of-the-art machinery for olive oil standardization and packaging, and increases its storage and warehousing capabilities. Thus, it is able to oversee the entire olive oil production process from processing of the olives to the final stage of standardization.

All processes are carried out in fully ecologically friendly facilities, under excellent sanitary conditions, with responsibility towards the consumer.
