The good news of our gastronomic market For the fourth consecutive year and with great success, Food Expo was held this year, where many fine Greek foods were presented, including some innovative new products, which attracted thousands of Greek and foreign professionals
– Food Expo, the world’s fastest growing food and beverage exhibition was, according to its organizers, one of the most successful events this year, as it has managed to quadruple in size in terms of exhibitors, visitors, and exhibition space in just four years. Over the three-day weekend of March 18-20, approximately 60,000 guests visited the kiosks of the Metropolitan Expo exhibition area, where more than 1,200 Greek and foreign exhibitors presented a variety of fine food products. Finally, we tasted the most spectacular product this year at the stand featuring the new Bliss Point cheeses produced in renowned cheese dairies (Cretan cave aged gruyere, aged wine gruyere and dry anthotyros cheese, both of which are marinated in Xinomavro wine lees from the Alpha Estate, gruyere with four peppers, with savory, thyme and black truffle, etc.). This is a type of feta cheese made from sheep’s milk which tastes like goat cheese and contains only 1% fat. Yes, you have read correctly. Good news for those who have to eat low-fat cheese. It is called freevia and, although completely fat free, it is incredibly tasty and will be launched in a few days, initially in the supermarkets Thanopoulos and Masoutis. I am looking forward to it, out of necessity. Source: Protagon.gr
